Overview[]
Mall Raid is a glass-smashing heist that tasks you with destroying a percentage of the total glass in the mall, scaling with difficulty. Glass includes the vast glass roof in the center of the mall, various exterior windows, and store windows.
Jade's Plan[]
"One of our contractors has asked up to hit up a local mall in an effort to flex his muscle and show the owner that he means business. He wants us to go in and trash the place. Destroy anything that you can. Your best bet would be to destroy any glass that you see. This should give the owner a good scare. Now, our contractor doesn't need the entire mall destroyed, so about 3/4 of the mall should do. After you've made it rain enough glass, I'll call in Goose to get you guys out of there. I'm sure the stores hold plenty of cash, so help yourselves if you find any."

Stealth[]
Stealth involves destroying glass while avoiding detection and is only possibly on Normal to Very Hard.
- Enter the mall.
- Go to the security room (The room is near beside the first floor café's counter)
- Take the Keycard and disable the cameras
- Kill no more than 4 guards while taking the rest hostage with aced Halt!. This requires at least one other player with the skill aced.
- Cable tie and/or kill the civilians.
- Destroy 85%/75%/70%/65%/60%/50% of the mall's glass.
- Wait for the extraction helicopter.
Loud[]
Loud primarily involves destroying glass.
- Enter the mall.
- Destroy 85%/75%/70%/65%/60%/50% of the mall's glass.
- Wait for the extraction helicopter. On Nightmare difficulty, this takes 9 minutes.

Tips[]
Skills & Equipment[]
- Sentry Guns should be placed near the escalators or the mall entrance, and Trip Mines should be put at the mall's entrance door and the escalators.
- Bringing the knife instead of the Excalibur (or any other melee) can make destroying the glass (such as the glass railings) easier and not waste your ammo.
- This heist contains no bags, so you don't need Pack Animal or Carrier Pigeon.
Trivia[]
- In the beta, the game said that it was possible to stealth this map, but in the revamp it says otherwise. However, you can still stealth the map on Normal to Very Hard using the Halt! and Joker skills with a full team (and on higher difficulties using glitches).
- This heist is based off PAYDAY 2's Mallcrasher.
- This is one of the 3 heists that has the most amount of hidden cardboard and metal safes, the other heists being Gift Factory and R&B Bank.
- It's possible to disable Cameras in the heist despite it being intended to be loud only.
